Getting to the camp

Camp Sorella is located on the beautiful Tuscan countryside, just outside the village of Trequanda. You can travel to the camp by car, train or bus. Please note that on the first day of the camp we will be providing pick up service from Sinalunga train station.

By Plane

If you are arriving in Italy by airplane, we recommend you to fly to one of the following cities:

​1. Florence (Firenze): this is the nearast major airport. It takes 3 hours from Florence airport to Sinalunga train station, where we pick you up. 

​​

2. Pisa: this is the second nearast major airport. It takes also about 3 hours to Sinalunga. 

​

​3. Rome: has two international airport with many connections to different parts of the word.  It takes about 3 hours  from Rome city center to Sinalunga.​​​

By Train

​​​From Florence: 

From Florence, you can take a train from Firenze Santa Maria Novella station to Sinalunga. Most routes require one change, usually in Siena or Chiusi, and the journey takes about 2–3 hours depending on the connection.

​

​From Pisa: 

From Pisa, you can take a train to Sinalunga with one or two changes, usually in Florence and/or Siena. The journey normally takes around 3–4 hours depending on the connection.

​

From Rome: 

From Rome, you can take a train to Sinalunga with a change in Chiusi or Terontola. The journey usually takes around 2.5–3.5 hours depending on the connection.

Camp Sorella stretches between a Monday to a Friday, which gives you a great opportunity to extend your stay before or after the camp to enjoy Tuscany on your own. â€‹â€‹â€‹â€‹

Florence (Firenze)

Florence is the capital of Tuscany and a must-see for its Renaissance art, architecture, and vibrant city life. Highlights include the Duomo, Uffizi Gallery, Ponte Vecchio, and panoramic views from Piazzale Michelangelo. The city’s compact center is perfect for exploring on foot, and it’s renowned for its museums, markets, and trattorias.

Pisa
